A 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Review of TINY THREADS by Jami Denise
After 18 years of marriage, my husband and I have struggled with our own relationship, more focused on the needs of our children and putting aside the connection he and I once had. Although we would NEVER change one moment with our children, we have forgotten how to date one another, how to find the friendship we once enjoyed. Is it gone? No. But we have talked about the lack of connection we have and the need to find a way back before the threads of this life we have together unravel and break. Marriage is hard work and Tiny Threads is a powerful story about the need for communication and honesty to survive the ups and down.
Jami Denise has built two very strong and resilient characters in Jenna and Royal Grainger. They struggle with the hardships many face in a marriage when kids, work, bills, and the stresses of the day begin to fray the bond they once had. When doubt and fear is allowed to take hold, when memories and ghosts from the past show up, Royal and Jenna Grainger must fight for the love they still hold for one another, must face the anger and resentment that has built up over the years, and must determine whether the wedge that has formed between them is more than they can overcome. It is a painful journey that has the power to make stronger the relationship between the two.
Well-written using strong character development and carefully and strategically placed conflict, Tiny Threads will have you laughing, crying, and cheering for these two and their family.

Her books are always on the spicy side with a little bit of sweet to make you swoon. Her feisty kittens always give the bad boys a run for their money. She likes taking risks, pushing her characters into directions that challenge the reader and take them out of their element. You’ll usually find the unexpected to happen in her stories. Life isn’t always pretty, and she likes to layer her words with true grit.
She is a self-professed cat lady, addicted to coffee and Monster, cupcake lip balm, and loves all things old, grungy, and fast. She’s well versed in sarcasm, and the F-word is her favorite adjective.
When she doesn’t have her nose in a book, or fingers on a keyboard, she’s spending time with family and friends, watching old movies, and waiting for the next felon to come sweep her off her feet.
