A ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐️ Review of Cassie by Jennifer Foor

My name is Cassie Healy. I’m twenty-two years old and I’ve had to sneak around to be able to have a relationship with the man I love because of my overbearing parents.
So what if Brantley Moxin has a criminal record? He’s who I chose to be with.
Leaving town was our only option. One night we packed up a few things and hit the road, bound for a new chance at a future together.
I thought it was going to be beautiful; something my parents would come to appreciate after time. Instead I’ve been thrown into a life I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Now I have nowhere to go – a family obviously ashamed of what I’ve done.
This is my mess to clean up, and I’m afraid I’m in too deep for that to happen.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐⭐️ Review of Cassie by Jennifer Foor

This is a unique coming of age book in which Cassie must learn to stand on her own; she must learn to understand her worth in this world and find the connection with those who value her and her convictions. Having lived a life feeling sheltered by her parents and struggling with the rejection she faced from her parent in regard to her boyfriend, Cassie finds herself leaving behind her family to follow the man her parents forbid her from seeing. With no clear idea of where she is headed, but trusting that her boyfriend will provide and prove everyone wrong, Cassie leaves to pursue a new life in Las Vegas. Will love be enough to save her boyfriend from the life he has lead? Will Cassie be strong enough to keep him on the straight and narrow?

Living a life in which crime is paying the way proves to be more than Cassie bargained for. Spiraling out of control and losing herself and her compass, will Cassie find her way back? Or will she simply become another statistic?

Jennifer Foor built a strong set of characters who struggled with some very difficult subjects: betrayal, crime, sex, drugs, murder, trust, and self-worth, and she added in a few twist and turns that gave a powerful ending to a difficult situation.
