A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️  Review of Beautifully DAMAGED by Gina Sevani

“Damon was tall, dark, and handsome as the saying goes: mysterious, tattooed, and very muscular with broad, defined shoulders – at least six foot-two – and the most crystal-blue eyes I had ever seen.” Ariel played like she was unaffected to those around her to keep up her “loner image”. Having experienced more than her share of loss and heartache, she decided it was better to push everyone away and keep to herself as much as possible. Her Grams was all she needed in her life now.

Damon had his share of admirers/followers but Ariel’s indifference to him has him intrigued. He knew she was special and had to get to know her better. Her constant rejection to his advances was no deterrent. He decides to give her the room and time she needs to realize life is too short to live alone and not with those who love her. Little did he know one of her secrets would bring them together in a way he never intended.

I cannot wait for more in this story!! There are so many options. Gram’s story (please more Gram!!). Damon’s story. More of Ariel and Damon. Trish’s story… There was great development without leaving you totally hanging, but just enough to keep you wanting more. The internal struggles with Ariel of not inviting more pain, but at the same time she acknowledges there are people who have lost more than her. It doesn’t make her pain any less significant, but it shows her heart. The people in her life see her struggles, but know to tell her anything is pointless. She has to find peace within herself to allow others in. She has to learn to participate in the life around her, not just live in it. It allows insight that all of us have our own unique stories of loss and pain, and it is ok to have those emotions. BUT, to remember to not let it take over your life and destroy all the good you still have along with the memories.

About the Author

Displaying GinaSevani.jpgGINA SEVANI was born and raised in beautiful South Carolina. She still lives there with her adventurous husband, beautiful daughter, and the families two dogs. She learned at an early age that she had a mad love for reading, romance, paranormal, and everything in between.

One night, as she was trying to fall asleep, fictional characters popped into her head and would not leave. Day after day she was running dialogue in her head while trying to perform daily tasks. Those characters would not shut up!

As time passed, she kept them at bay, convinced she didn’t have the ability to be an “Author”. But late one night, she sat down at the computer, deciding to see if her characters could come to life on the pages. When she finally took a breath, ten thousand words had poured out of her soul. Those words lead to her first novel “Beautifully Damaged.”

She enjoys writing and being part of the “Author World” as she likes to call it. Her main goal when it comes to writing is to make you feel something – anything. Laughter, tears, madness or to make you fall in love with the hero/heroine. At the end of the novel if you have felt some type of emotion then she feels her job is complete. Until the next story of course.
